Reunion Dinner!

Today is Chinese Lunar New Year Eve! Sadly this year, I am not together with my parents and I am currently in the city of Sydney. I will only celebrate it with my cousins who are also here.

It's a bit sad isn't it? Usually you get to eat homemade cooked hot pot and now, we'll just go out and have dinner. It's exhausting to wash after eating so we thought going out is better. Today's weather was no better, it's still hot and annoying, making you drop bullets of water from your forehead and so on. I haven't bought protector for my MacBook yet, it seems scary standing inside the Apple Retail Store alone, knowing nothing, so I might drag my cousin along later.

I am a bit envious of my sister back there in Indonesia; one of cousins here, Cindy's family is going to spend new year with mine, so they will arrive today from Pekan Baru and have roasted pork for lunch, and a feast for reunion dinner tonight. They will also be joined by my single aunt from Medan, and together they are going to Singapore tomorrow to the casino. Yeah, first day of new year in a casino? How odd.

I still have to buy a fan, the fan my cousin Mel intended to lend me was too big for me to carry back to my homestay. I think I should find a mini fan, or maybe the easier one to carry.

My current host was such an asshole and I hated her, I dislike her, abhor her, I don't know why, but she is very annoying and she doesn't take critics from anyone else. She's like the type; if you cross me, you're so dead. Whatever, I am going to move sooner anyway, I just hoped luck is on my side this time, let me find a nice host, house, clean, and easy going, just like my previous host, Christine.

Okay, no more talk about hosts, I am sick of them. Let's talk about ending the entry for today. I have no more things to complain, and it's getting hotter, and I might need to go to the loo.
